The fifth Lubavitcher Rebbe, known as the Rebbe Rashab, established the first modern Hasidic yeshiva system, Tomchei Temimim. He is known for the intellectual depth and systematic organization he brought to Hasidic philosophy. He was a leader who stood firm against the secularizing pressures of his time.
